Research at Homelessness Hub
What We Do
Homelessness Hub is a leader in non-partisan and unbiased research undertaken to support policy, program, and systems innovation and change. Because homelessness is, at its core, a lack of stable housing, our research ranges from evaluations of existing homelessness programming to identifying methods for supporting affordable housing development. Much of our research also focuses on spatial visualizations and analyses given the importance of location and distance in homelessness service delivery. We work closely with community stakeholders, including people with lived experience of homelessness and frontline experience in housing and homeless services, in order to produce actionable, applied research products.
Homelessness Hub conducts research by contract with funders who wish to evaluate specific programs or processes or produce data, conduct analyses, and develop infographics to understand outcomes. Other projects are developed internally or in partnership with community stakeholders and funded by philanthropy, research foundations, and government grants.
